Hello! My name is Deidra Reid Brewer, and I am the Library Media Specialist at Highland Park and Webster Elementary.

University of Alabama, Master’s in Library and Information Studies (MLIS), 2004
University of West Alabama, Educational Specialist (EdS) in Library Media, 2019
National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in Library Media
2025-2026 Alabama District 7 Elementary Teacher of the Year
I am married to Chad Brewer. We have two children, Brooklyn and Blayden.
